The biggest threat we all have to having a viable and successful future is that of becoming a commodity. I think a commodity is something that is common, readily available, and cheap. We risk becoming a commodity when we have the same skills as millions of other people on this planet. We risk becoming a commodity when we offer the same type services thousands of others do. We risk becoming a commodity when we sell the same products as hundreds of others do. Thus, the only way to avoid becoming a commodity is being unique. How do you become unique? You cultivate creativity and express it in all you do. Creativity is the key to avoiding becoming a commodity.
