The Economy - Electricity

What would our society be like without electricity? We would have to go back to the way things were before 1900. I can’t even imagine a world without electricity or all the technology we currently enjoy. Nothing would function. We would soon run out of gas because all the fuel pumps work on electricity (as do the systems used to pay for the gas). We would soon run out of food since it is electricity that makes modern supermarkets possible. We would run out of water since it is electricity that runs the pumps that push the water through our pipes. Our way of life would end quickly and considering how easily humans devolve into riot and mayhem, we would have chaos and disaster. Millions would perish and those who remain would be barely surviving. Electricity is the lifeblood of our modern society. Without it nothing works.

What do you think?
