The Future - Learning

Of course, one of the leading companies in the Digital Age is Google. In a recent interview, Laszlo Bock, the senior vice president of people operations stated:

"For every job, though, the No. 1 thing we look for is general cognitive ability, and it’s not I.Q. It’s learning ability."

When change is the norm (which it is for the Digital Age), the ability to be constantly learning is the key ability to have. We do not know what skills or knowledge will be needed in the future, but being able to learn is the way to thrive in the future. Unfortunately our education system does not do a good job at teaching kids how to learn. In fact, if you ask a teacher what learning is they might not know the answer.

What do you think?
