The government has finally run out of patience and has started to crackdown on the protesters. This pattern is predictable. If the people rise up to support the protesters, the governments time is short (Egypt, Libya) if there is not enough support from the people, then the government will disperse the protesters and increase it's power to deal with the opposition (Iran, China). No matter what the outcome, many are going to suffer.
