Microsoft announced an Office app for the iPad. Now iPad has been around for just about 4 years. Is this not a bit late to be releasing an app for it? I used to think that Microsoft was one of the leaders in the "Digital Age", but I no longer think that. It is not a leading edge company and I do not know if it will make it through the transition. I think it might go the way of IBM. Microsoft's core business is Windows and Office. Two software packages in a world that no longer buys software. How will it make any money?
