There is a futurist who is predicting that lawyers will not exist in the future. That they will be replaced by Artificial Intelligence. I like the idea, but I don't think they will be replaced. In the future more and more work that is done by lawyers will be done through the internet. In fact, that is already happening. Today you can do many things that used to require a lawyer, on your own through the internet (check out legalzoom.com). So we might have fewer lawyers in the future, but as long as we have greedy, evil, hateful people, we will always have lawyers (especially since some of them are greedy, evil, and hateful).
