My Chromebook has changed how I shop, what stores I visit, and where I eat meals. Since Chromebook works best when it is online, I often only go to those places that have WIFI available. Now I have a hotspot on my smartphone, so I can go anyplace I want to, but I only use it when I need to (as I did today when I took my kids to the dentist). I frequent places that have WIFI out of convenience. That has implications for businesses. If you want more people to come by your store, make sure you have free WIFI available. Hey, that will get me in the door (and probably many others as well).
