Jerry Seinfeld is one of the most successful comedians ever. I was just reading a blog post about him and some concepts that stood out. First, figure out what your passion is and follow it. Do it out of love, not for the money. Next, be consistent. If you want to be a composer, write music every day. If you want to be an actor, do some acting every day. Being consistent is the way to master your craft and excel at your passion. Finally, there will always be people who don't like what you do. Find a way to live with that.
