I just spent some time reading peoples comments on some blog posts. Wow, some of them can be quite mean. The reality is that there are a lot of negative people out there. There are also a lot of people who don't know how to add to the conversation. When I comment I try to either make a statement or I like to ask a question that adds to the conversation. I also only comment on those posts that truly interest me. We all know that the reason we post a comment is to try to get others to come to our own sites, but why be so obvious? I for one am going to try to add to the conversation rather than just try to get some attention.
