With Crimea voting to secede from Ukraine, other places are considering it as well. The city of Venice is talking about seceding from Italy, Quebec from Canada, and Scotland from England. There is also a move in California to have it split up into 6 different states. Now that would be interesting. Russia is still poised to invade Ukraine. In the U.S., sanctions might be made if they do. The airliner from Malaysia had been declared to be pirated or hijacked, but no one knows where it is or what has happened to those who were on board. Stock futures are down a bit. It will be interesting to see what direction stocks take tomorrow. In the U.S. nothing major happened today. All in all, it was another day in the calm before the storm.
