I have found this to be true in my life and in the lives of those around me. What you focus on grows. If you focus on what's wrong in your life, all you see is what is wrong and it grows worse. If you focus on how little money you have, all you see is how little money you have and it grows worse. If all you focus on is how far in debt you are, all you see is debt and it grows worse.
Instead, why not focus on what is is good? If you focus on what is right in your life (and there are right things in your life or you would be dead), then you will see more of what is right and it will grow. If you focus on how much money you are making (and you are or you would not be reading this because you would not have the money to make it happen), then you will see that you are making more and more money and it will grow. If you focus on how you are paying down your debts (and you are even if all you make are the minimum payments), then you will see that you are slowly but surely getting out of debt and you will eventually be debt free.
What you focus on grows. Maybe the quality of our lives is the way it is because we're focusing on the wrong things?
