World food prices fell in April and are probably still falling. This is good news since the last time food prices were high several governments fell across North Africa and there was unrest in many other parts of the world. The U.N. stated that the fall in price is because there is an abundance of supply. There was a particularly sharp drop in dairy prices. I think this is good news because rising food prices just causes problems across the globe and more problems we don't need.
