Chromebook - Intel and Chrome OS

An interesting point was made about the news conference by Intel and Google on Tuesday. Did it mark a new relationship between Google and Intel? Are we going to see more and more Intel based Chromebooks and less and less AMD based Chromebooks? I think so. Also, if Chromebooks are a joke, or a flash in the pan, then why the attention from Intel? I think Chromebooks are selling well enough to interest Intel and they are making sure they get the market and not AMD. Chromebooks are building a niche for themselves, and I think that's a good thing. I find that Chromebooks do exactly what they are designed to do (basic cloud based computing) and they are the least expensive and most secure "system" on the market. Not bad for starting at $200!

What do you think?
