Writing - Sound Advice

I found some good advice on writing. Author Vivian Vande Velde gives this advice:

*  Read (because that's how you learn to write).
*  Write the stuff you like to read (because then you will be authentic).
*  Write everyday (Because that's how you improve your writing).
*  Finish what you start (because that's how stuff gets done).

There is no secret to being a writer. Read, write, daily, finish. Follow it and you will be successful. You might not get rich or be famous, but you will get the words on the page and that makes you a writer.
