One of the blessings of being a teacher is how often you get called to participate in jury duty. I get blessed regularly and I am actually doing my civic duty as I write. I could at this point rant about how bad it is to have to do this, but truth be told, I don't mind. I know that this is part of being a full fledged citizen of the United States of America. If we all do our part, then the burden is lighter on all of us. Plus, I firmly believe that if you are not part of the processes then you can't complain and find fault when it does not work the way you would like it to work. As a citizen this is my civic duty. Plus, I am getting a lot of time to write, and that's not bad at all!
