News - Daily Summary

Putin visited Crimea today to celebrate the Soviet victory over Nazi Germany. Meanwhile, there were clashes across Eastern Ukraine between separatists and government forces. In reaction to the government crackdown in Venezuela, the U.S. is considering sanctions. The civil war continues in Syria, and there were no new developments from the middle east. Nothing new from North Korea and China, Vietnam, and Japan seem to have taken a step back.

In the U.S. stocks were higher today. Gold was up a bit, but still down for the week. Oil was down a bit. There were no other major developments in the U.S. except for the usual murders, mayhem, corruption, and trivialities.

It was another day in the calm before the storm.

What do you think?
