It was a very quiet day today (as was yesterday). In the U.S. the only major thing going on was the Grammy awards. There is still a lot of noise about the passing of Supreme Court Justice Scalia. It will be interesting to see how markets react tomorrow. It will also be interesting to see if and when a replacement is nominated and confirmed by the Senate. My guess is that the Republicans in the Senate will actually step up and stall any nomination that Obama might attempt to get passed. Besides the usual crimes, mayhem, and disasters, there was nothing else in the news that was interesting.
