We are closer to war than at any time in the last 30 years. Not only does Russia have troops massed at the border with Ukraine, it also has a large military exercise being executed near the border with Estonia and Latvia. In Asia a retired Chinese General has stated that war with Japan is becoming more and more likely. I don't recall a time like this in the last 30 years where we have both Russia and China geared up at this level for war. Now we had high levels of military alert during the cold war, but they were over the west fighting the east. Now it's specific countries seeking to claim what they believe is theirs, which is eerily like WWII. A storm seems to be building that's for sure.
