Personal Improvement - Practice

Many people hate to practice. Unfortunately there is no other way to become good at something. You want to be a good writer? Practice! Want to become a good musician? Practice! Want to become a good… I think you get my point. Practice is the key that unlocks all greatness. How did the late Mickey Rooney become such an accomplished actor, singer, and dancer? Practice. So embrace practicing. Find some way to make it fresh and as fun as possible (make it a game or a goal). Also, a key to make practicing more effective is to practice stuff you want to improve, not stuff you can already do well. I can't tell you how many music students I have had over the years who just practiced the stuff they liked and were good at. It did them no good! They never improved! Alright already get practicing!

What do you think?
