Chromebook - 2013 shipments

There are finally some numbers out on Chromebook sales. In 2013 over 2 million Chromebooks were shipped. Compared to sales of tablets, that's minuscule, but it's enough to keep spooking Microsoft. Chromebooks are the only "laptops" which saw sales growth in 2013. The growth rate for Chromebooks was near 30%, which compared to the rest of the market is huge. There is a future and a market for Chromebooks, but it will never be as big as tablets (or smartphones). The best thing Chromebooks has going for them is the price and the cost of usage. It is the least expensive system on the market.

What do you think?
