Underemployment

Underemployment consists of all the people not working but want to, and all the people working part time, but want to work full time. The state with the largest amount of underemployment is California. Now I am not surprised. Here in California things are not healthy. The rich are moving out, the poor are moving in, the middle is being squeezed, and there are many who would like to work, but can't find a job. In California over 20% of people between the age of 18 and 65 are underemployed. I see this in the youth who can't find work so they hang out at the mall or local Starbucks with nothing to do. I also see the local colleges and universities full of students who keep going to school because there is nothing else to do. In a few years we will have a large amount of people who will be fed up with not being able to find work. Then things will really get ugly.

What do you think?
