I am at a "chalk art" event with my daughter. She is creating a picture of some cartoon characters. Chalk art is cool. First, the artistic creations are terrific. From professionals to amateurs, they all look great. Second, the artists are from all age, race, gender, and socio economic group. Chalk art has few barriers. Chalk is cheap and all you need is some space. Finally, chalk art is not permanent. That's actually the coolest past because you know that you can just do it again. It creates a kind of freedom that is rather cool.
