Hollywood

The number one movie of the weekend was the Lego Movie. It has grossed over $145 million domestically and $200 million worldwide. Frozen has grossed $1 billion worldwide and is the biggest animated hit Disney has had in a lot of years outside of any Pixar movie. The movie industry is off to an okay start. It has grossed $1.4 billion so far, which is not as good as in past years, but better than last year which was the highest grossing year ever. I wonder what the profits were like? Hollywood is very good at hiding profits, so who knows how much the movie industry is earning in profits. The industry is also very incestous, so the costs are inflated. Hollywood is better at "laundering" money than the mob!

What do you think?
