In announcing a new, bigger, and more expensive Surface, Microsoft is proving that it does not get the technology market. People do not want a tablet that does everything a PC does. Especially if you can buy a regular laptop for the same price (or less). People want a tablet that is inexpensive and does most things they want to do. The same goes with Chromebook. People buy Chromebooks not because they want a full feature laptop, but because they are inexpensive, safe, and cheap. Hopefully Chromebook makers will realise this as well and not seek to make a Chromebook that is as expensive as a Windows laptop. People want a device that is cheap and works. That's why Chromebooks are succeeding. That's why Surface will fail.
What do you think?
